Blog Reflection- Anniet Vallejo

  My first presentation about group leadership and solving problem made me understand that the combined effort is better than any member could have achieved on its own. However not all groups manage to work as a team and when this happens it is easy to point to their leader. But this doesn't fall to just one person, it's part of making group decisions. In our presentation we discuss what effective group leadership means and the responsibilities of each of its members. Then we represent how shared leadership and effective communication develop during group meetings, then we saw problem solving and finally opted for methods to communicate the results and evaluate the effectiveness of the group.

  Teamwork involves commitment, it is not just strategy and procedure, there needs to be leadership, harmony, accountability, organization, and cooperation among each of the members and I think  that ours achieves all that. Activities flowed faster and more efficiently. We focus on the processes to reach the goal, we integrate, we consider all the points of view, our leader distributed the roles well in order to achieve better results. Our teamwork helped me understand how easy it is to carry out a project when a group of people work in a coordinated way. The presentation of my team was more effective thanks to the work of all, the tasks were shared, ideas were provided, everyone's opinion was met, our leader did an impeccable job and that is why our work was successful.

  The presentations of the other two teams were excellent. They helped me a little bit to see how the discussion of the subject was approached. They were an example of how teamwork allows us to be much more efficient in our performance, achieving higher goals. They had a good organization when it came to presenting, they exposed every point of their subject so that the others understood, their slides were incredible, and what I liked the most were that some of their videos in a fun way helped us understand some points of their subjects. I think they did a good job as a team.
  
  The presentation of both my team and those of the other two teams were a help in exposing the subject. I got a lot of information more effectively. The presentations in this way helped me better understand the issues that were taking place. I was able to take them to real life through the explanations we made. This way of exposing topic seems to me to be one of the best and most effective in the world of learning. you can get a lot of information by exposing these and it is a very simple way to let others see what is being explained. For me when it came to talking about the subject I had to present, my slides were an excellent method because with small phrases or images I could remember everything I had researched on the subject so that I could give a good explanation to those who listened to me.

Reflection Blog # 2

          Melody Perez Serrano    SPC 1017    Group Reflection Blog               Our second group presentation was amazing, at first it was very stressing since we weren't able to plan so ahead of time because  we were the first group to present. At the beginning everything that we had to do, was super overwhelming but thanks of what we learned from out previous presentation  we were able to connect and make the presentation as good as we can. The topic was so big that we had trouble planning out how we were going to start. The meeting with the librarian helped a lot in this issue since she guided us in the best way on how to find  resources for our topic. Group Reflection Blog #2 - Andy Macias

 Andy Macias  SPC 1017 March 24, 2021 My group, group #3 presented the pandemic. Our presentation went phenomenal everyone did an amazing job regardless of the fact that we were the first group presenting and had less time thanks to the great communication we all had, Grace and Lorena did a great introduction for the Coronavirus, Susej and I covered the history/overview of the pandemic, Andrei and Claudia did the public and personal recounts of the virus, Melody and Christian covered the handling of the virus in the united states and other countries, and finally Sade and Anniet went over the local and national resources regarding the whole pandemic. like I said before just great teamwork all around couldn't ask for a better team we put in a lot of effort and it shows.  The other groups projects which were Education and Racism were also amazing.
